Description:

Mon Rak Kantrum follows Kan, a Bangkok singer, who makes an urgent return to his home province of Buriram. His father, the esteemed leader of a traditional Kantrum band, has an accident, rendering him unable to play the fiddle. With the band facing hiatus, Kan must reluctantly step in to take his father's position. This homecoming brings an awkward encounter with Motdaeng, his ex-girlfriend, with whom he had a difficult breakup, and she shows no interest in rekindling any friendship. Kan soon uncovers a serious family secret: his father is heavily indebted to wealthy Chaiyan, a burden exacerbated by a lack of work during covid. With only two months to repay the loan or risk losing their family land, Kan must quickly devise a plan within his charming hometown to secure the necessary funds and safeguard his family's future.
