Description:

Mokomi: She's a Bit Strange introduces Shimizu Mokomi, a young woman who has inhabited a rich imaginary world since childhood. She often converses with inanimate objects like stuffed toys, stones, and plants, sensing their emotions. This unique sensitivity led to her being seen as peculiar and frequently scolded, causing her to stop traditional schooling in the fifth grade. Mokomi completed high school through correspondence courses, preferring to spend most of her time immersed in her fantasy world at home, though her older sibling occasionally coaxed her out.

At 20, she began a part-time job at a small factory, a recommendation from her mother, where she efficiently picked out defective items. A year later, her habit of talking to the factory equipment as if it had feelings caused disruptions, leading her to decide to leave her job. The narrative reaches a turning point on her 22nd birthday when an unexpected visitor arrives, hinting at a new chapter for Mokomi.
