In the adventure movie Mojin: The Lost Legend, legendary tomb explorer Hu Bayi decides to retire. Set in the early 1990s, Hu Bayi plans to leave his dangerous lifestyle behind and move to the United States with his fiancée Shirley to start anew. However, just before their wedding, his world is turned upside down. Hu Bayi discovers shocking clues suggesting that his first love, Ding Shitian, who supposedly died in a tragic incident years ago, might still be alive. Caught between his past memories and his future, the explorer is drawn back into the dangerous world of tomb raiding.
