Description:

Mohlat explores the deeply unhealthy mother-daughter relationship that develops between Zahida and her daughter, Nawera. From the moment of Nawera's birth, Zahida unfairly blames her for the troubles in their marriage, especially after her husband decides to marry another woman in hopes of having a son. This baseless guilt becomes a persistent burden for Nawera, who is constantly suppressed as her mother projects her own failings onto her.
