The heartwarming comedy-drama Miracle on 1st Street follows PilJe, a useless lowlife gangster sent on a ruthless mission. Armed with threats and intimidation, PilJe initially tries to complete his job. However, destiny has other plans. Instead of driving the locals out, he finds himself deeply involved in their daily struggles. In an ironic twist of fate, the gangster begins helping the residents improve their lives instead of destroying them. Along the way, he crosses paths with MyungRan, a troubled young female boxer. As MyungRan catches his eye, the two unlikely souls gradually form a unique relationship. This touching film beautifully blends humor and emotion, showing how an unexpected bond can bring hope to a struggling community.
