Description:

Miko Girl follows Shiwasu, a recent college graduate who quickly quits her first job and reluctantly takes on a part-time role as a shrine priestess at her father's shrine. Far from an ideal miko, Shiwasu is notoriously lacking in common sense and manners, perpetually blaming others for her woes and constantly complaining about her life. Her world, steeped in dissatisfaction, is abruptly disrupted when she is unexpectedly tasked with caring for Kenta, a mysterious five-year-old boy who suddenly appears at the shrine. Kenta, who doesn't speak, presents an immense challenge for the self-centered Shiwasu. This sudden, demanding responsibility pushes Shiwasu out of her comfort zone, forcing her to confront her own immaturity and perhaps embark on a transformative journey towards understanding and compassion, forming an unexpected bond in the process.
