Description:

In 1990, Hagizaki Tatsuo, the accounting chief of Ukishima Electric Works, is close to securing a vital loan with general manager Sekino. However, their efforts are shattered when Sekino is implicated in a massive 200 million yen fraud and vanishes with the funds. To safeguard its corporate image, the company opts for a complete cover-up. Driven by a thirst for truth, Hagizaki refuses to let the incident disappear. He teams up with his trusted newspaper reporter friend, Muraki, to launch a private investigation. As they delve deeper, the case morphs into a much darker, intricate conspiracy, revealing layers of corruption.
