Description:

Mask introduces Li Chun Qiu, a former Nationalist spy who has successfully escaped his past for a decade. Settled in Harbin with his family in 1948, he cherishes an ordinary, peaceful life. His fragile tranquility shatters when superiors reactivate him for "Operation Black Tiger," demanding he construct a bomb.

Unwilling to abandon his hard-earned normalcy and revert to his dangerous former identity, Li Chun Qiu embarks on a desperate fight for freedom. He attempts to sever ties with his shadowy past, but this defiance instantly draws unwanted attention. As he navigates the perilous mission, he finds himself under intense scrutiny from suspicious colleagues and a watchful police force. The film explores his arduous struggle to protect his family and break free from a life he desperately tried to bury, facing a difficult battle where his every move is questioned and his peaceful existence hangs by a thread.
