Description:

Marine Boy follows a former national swimmer who dreams of traveling to Palau. To fund his journey, he works as an instructor by day and gambles at night. After a devastating poker loss, he finds himself deeply indebted to loan sharks. Kang, the ruthless head of a local drug syndicate, offers to settle his debts if he agrees to become a "marine boy," a dangerous drug mule operating across open waters. Aware of the peril, the swimmer attempts to flee but is apprehended at the airport by Detective Kim Gae Ko, who is determined to capture Kang. With no other choice, the swimmer agrees to spy on Kang for the detective. His mission becomes increasingly complicated when he falls for Yu Ri, a jazz singer under Kang's charge and the daughter of Kang's best friend. Suspecting Kang of her father's murder, Yu Ri and the swimmer form a perilous alliance, plotting to steal the drug money for themselves.
