Description:

Mai Agare! chronicles the inspiring journey of Mai, a shy girl residing in Higashi Osaka, a district celebrated for its craftsmen where her father Kota operates a small factory. Her perspective shifts dramatically during visits to her grandmother Shoko on the naturally abundant Goto Islands. There, Mai is mesmerized by the Baramon kites, soaring high and free in the sky. This fascination ignites a powerful longing within her: a dream to become a pilot and experience flight firsthand.

However, the path to achieving her aspiration proves significantly more arduous than she imagined. As Mai fosters deeper connections with the people in both her hometown of Higashi Osaka and the Goto Islands, her initial dream begins to transform. She gathers a dedicated group of friends, shifting her focus towards building a small electric plane designed to travel between the islands.
