In the romance drama Lovers of 6 Years, DaJin (Kim HaNeul) and JaeYoung (Yoon KyeSang) have been in an all too comfortable relationship for the past six years. Although they do not live together, their apartments reside side by side. DaJin works as an editor at a publishing company, while JaeYoung is a producer for a home shopping network. However, their stable lives face a major hurdle when DaJin recruits illustrator JinSeong (Shin SungRok) for her next project. During this process, JinSeong begins to develop romantic feelings for DaJin. Meanwhile, JaeYoung meets a young part-time worker in the television station elevator who already knows his name and wants to know him better. As both partners face unexpected temptations from these new arrivals, their six-year bond is put to the ultimate test. Can DaJin and JaeYoung overcome these challenges, or will outside temptations tear them apart?
