Description:

In 1934, Maj. Gen. Yamamoto Isoroku is dispatched to London to lead Japan's preliminary disarmament conference negotiations. The mission is critical: failure risks Japan's international isolation, deepening the rift with global powers like Britain and the United States, and potentially igniting a devastating war. Yamamoto, acutely aware of the United States' vast national power, believes war must be avoided at all costs. Yet, he faces immense internal opposition from senior military personnel back home, who fiercely advocate for withdrawing from the disarmament system and pursuing an arms race. Forced into an impossible position, Yamamoto must make tough decisions under intense pressure. As diplomatic tensions escalate and the shadow of conflict lengthens, he conceives a secret plan, a desperate gamble to steer Japan away from isolation and prevent the outbreak of a catastrophic international war.
