"Like a Virgin" centers on Dong Gu, a teenage boy who escapes his harsh reality through Madonna's music and applying lipstick. His home life is fraught with a violent, alcoholic former boxer father and an older brother mirroring him, while his mother has abandoned them for a theme park job. At school, Dong Gu faces constant bullying for his effeminate tendencies, often retreating into fantasies, including imagining a beckoning young male teacher. A pivotal moment arrives when a wrestling coach discovers Dong Gu's unexpected talent and potential in his physique. Seizing this opportunity, Dong Gu dedicates himself to training for a competition.
