Description:

The psychological thriller Kyouhansha follows Uchibori Miwa, the beautiful president of cosmetic company Nympha Miwa. Despite her successful image, Miwa hides a dark past. Once an insecure cleaner, she received free plastic surgery from doctor Akizuki Yoshihiko and married him. However, Akizuki became violently abusive. When landscape gardener Machida Takeharu witnessed this, he and Miwa fell in love. Following a brutal assault, they ended up murdering Akizuki during a scuffle. Miwa paid Machida to cover up the crime and banished him. Eight years later, a mysterious online post claiming to know her real identity shakes Miwa. While Machida spots Miwa’s lecture poster in Fukuoka Prefecture, Miwa hires Takeoka Yoshiko, a former investigator. Driven by paranoia about her past crime, Miwa unexpectedly asks Yoshiko to conduct a background check on Machida.
