Description:

Based on Seicho Matsumoto's gripping novel, Kuroi Fukuin is a tense mystery film set in 1959 Tokyo. The story begins on April 4, when veteran detective Fujisawa Rokuro discovers the lifeless body of airline stewardess Ikuta Setsuko along the Musashino district banks. Though her peaceful expression initially suggests suicide, a forensic examination reveals she was suffocated, turning the case into a shocking murder investigation. Eager to find justice, Fujisawa partners with young detective Ichimura Yoshitaka, under the watchful eye of Manager Takaku Ryo.
