The sports comedy film Kung Fu Dunk follows Fang Shi Jie, an orphaned boy raised in a kung fu school who possesses extraordinary throwing accuracy. After being expelled from his school following a chaotic casino fight, Shi Jie meets a down-and-out hustler named Wang Li. Recognizing the boy's incredible talent, Wang Li recruits him to play basketball for First University, promising to help him find his lost family. At the university, Shi Jie falls for LiLi, the sister of basketball team leader Ting Wei. To win her heart, Shi Jie initially clashes with her idol, Xiao Lan, creating tension within the team. However, after Ting Wei counsels him, the team unites. Ting Wei helps Shi Jie combine his formidable kung fu foundation with basketball techniques. This powerful and unique fusion of martial arts and sports brings Shi Jie’s skills to full play, leading First University through a series of thrilling victories in the intervarsity tournament.
