Koori no Wadachi, also known as The Ice Rut, is an atmospheric Japanese drama set in the freezing, snowy winter of Kushiro City, Hokkaido. The story follows Daimon Mayu, a rookie police detective played by Shibasaki Kou. Mayu is a deeply lonely woman whose only family is her dying father, and she has never known her mother's face or name.
