Koinaka tells the story of Miura Aoi, an indecisive guy with a timid personality who dislikes summer. Once aspiring to become an architect, his dream has faded as he works as an assistant in a small architectural firm in Tokyo. However, Aoi experiences a fateful reunion with Serizawa Akari, his first love and childhood friend. Back in their high school days, the two were always together, but Akari suddenly disappeared in the summer of their third year. Although Aoi forced himself to bury his feelings deep within, his heart is moved once again by this unexpected encounter. The emotional drama intensifies when he notices another guy, who is also named Aoi, standing next to her. This touching romance explores unresolved feelings and second chances at love. Will Miura Aoi find the courage to pursue Serizawa Akari, or will the other Aoi win her heart?
