Kobayashi Daiki, a first-year high school student, has just moved from the bustling city of Tokyo to the quieter town of Hita. His primary goal in this new environment is to remain completely unnoticed, avoiding any kind of spotlight or attention. However, Daiki's carefully maintained anonymity begins to unravel when he becomes captivated by a distinctive set of footsteps echoing through his new high school’s hallways.

These unique sounds, always rhythmic and somehow comforting, pique his curiosity in a way nothing else has. Intrigued against his will, Daiki finds himself subtly altering his own routine, hoping to catch a glimpse of the person behind these enchanting footsteps without drawing attention to himself.
