Set in the late 1950s to early 1960s on a small island in Japan's Seto Inland Sea, Kikansha Sensei is an inspiring drama about connection and resilience. The story follows Yoshioka Seigo, a burly young man who arrives at the island’s sole elementary school to work as a temporary teacher.
