In the Japanese detective drama Keishichou Zero-gakari, Superintendent Kobayakawa Fuyuhiko, a naive career police officer who cannot read situations, is transferred to a seemingly useless department. Following an incident at the National Research Institute of Police Science, he lands in the anything consultation office of the Suginami Chuo Police Precinct. While promoted as a public feedback initiative, this unit, mocked as the Zero Section, is actually a dumping ground for problematic officers. Kobayakawa is paired with Terada Torami, a strong-minded and foul-mouthed veteran detective. Despite their clashing personalities and constant bickering, this mismatched duo must work together. Along with the highly individualistic members of the discarded department, they defy all expectations. By combining their unique skills, they tackle complex investigations and solve difficult cases dashingly, proving that even the most useless-looking team can deliver justice.
