Keishicho Zero Gakari is an engaging drama following Superintendent Kobayakawa Fuyuhiko, a naive career officer transferred from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department National Research Institute of Police Science. Following a certain incident, he is reassigned to the newly established anything consultation office of Suginami Chuo Police Precinct Community Safety Division. Although promoted as a quick-response public initiative, this office is actually a dumping ground for troubled and discarded staff, mocked by others as the Zero Section. Here, Kobayakawa Fuyuhiko is reluctantly paired with the strong-minded, foul-mouthed veteran detective Terada Torami. Despite their constant bickering and lack of chemistry, the mismatched pair, alongside their highly individualistic colleagues, tackle and solve difficult cases dashingly. This series blends crime-solving and comedy as the underdogs of the Zero Section prove their true worth.
