In Keibuho Yabe Kenzo 2, a notorious thief named Blue Oracle steals diamonds worth sixty million yen from Daidoji Fumino’s jewelry shop. During the inauguration of the new police commissioner, Mitarai Chikao, at a Tokyo hotel, the careless detective Yabe Kenzo and Akiba Barando meet the commissioner’s genius daughter, Miki. After Miki brilliantly solves a new riddle from the thief, Yabe mistakenly thinks he is in charge of the case.
