Kare no Iru Seikatsu centers on a young man who, after years of diligently caring for his younger sisters and managing household duties, eagerly anticipates the freedom of university life and living on his own. His plans for independence are unexpectedly upended when his roommate is revealed to be his childhood friend. Despite his perfect looks and charming personality, this friend mysteriously has no girlfriend. Curious, our protagonist joins him in searching for the reason, but finds no flaws, only his own heart beginning to flutter at his friend's kind words and actions. As they navigate their new cohabitation and learn more about each other, their relationship deepens. This marks the start of a mutually self-aware journey where their lives become intertwined.
