Description:

In "Kanojo no Ura Sekai," an arrogant drama director, convinced of his success, grapples with creative clashes at work, reflecting his elitist and old-fashioned views. He proposes to his seemingly modest girlfriend, Akiko, primarily out of obligation. Yet, the very next day, Akiko inexplicably vanishes, leaving only the engagement ring. Stunned, the director embarks on a frantic search, soon realizing he possesses no real information about her. As he scours social media for clues, following Akiko's mysterious new life with her mother's company, his investigation gradually exposes her true identity and hidden past. Simultaneously, he is forced to confront his own deep-seated chauvinism and the uncomfortable truths about himself, revealing a reality far different from his carefully constructed world.
