The action-packed plot of Kamen Rider Kuuga begins in ancient times, when the brutal Gurongi Tribe terrorized the Linto people. A legendary warrior named Kuuga eventually defeated them, sealing the Gurongi leader deep inside a cave. In the present day, this ancient evil is resurrected, resuming their murderous game against humanity, the descendants of the Linto. When a multitalented man named Yusuke Godai becomes linked to a mysterious stoned belt found within the excavated cave, he takes on the mantle of the warrior. Supported by the Science Police, Yusuke must master the various powers of Kuuga to stop the Gurongi from their continuous killing and protect human happiness. However, as the endgame draws near, Yusuke uncovers a horrible revelation behind the origins of Kuuga and the Gurongi's leader.
