Kamen Rider Ghost follows Takeru Tenkuji, the son of a deceased ghost hunter. When Takeru is killed by an evil monster called a Ganma while protecting his childhood friend Akari Tsukimura, a mysterious hermit grants him a second chance. Bestowed with the Ghost Driver and Eyecons, Takeru transforms into Kamen Rider Ghost to battle these dark entities. He has just 99 days to collect 15 legendary Eyecons to make his resurrection permanent. Supported by the Buddhist priest Onari and the scientifically-minded Akari, Takeru must navigate supernatural threats. His journey is complicated by Makoto Fukami, who transforms into Kamen Rider Specter, and the Ganma led by Aran. To defeat his foes, Takeru uses Eyecons to summon Parka Ghosts, the spirits of historical icons like Miyamoto Musashi, Thomas Edison, and Isaac Newton, harnessing their unique powers to save himself and the world.
