Description:

Just Between Lovers is a poignant drama centering on the survivors of a major accident that claimed forty-eight lives. Lee Gang Doo, who once dreamed of playing for the Korean national soccer team, had his life shattered by injuries from the tragedy. Years later, he lives a rough life, battling constant physical and emotional pain while struggling to pay off heavy debts. Ha Moon Soo also survived the accident and remains plagued by nightmares, working in architectural safety modeling to prevent future disasters. When a new construction project is scheduled at the original accident site, it reopens old wounds for everyone involved. As those connected to the tragedy cross paths once more, some fight the development while others join it. Ultimately, Lee Gang Doo and Ha Moon Soo find solace in each other, learning to confront their shared trauma, heal their deepest emotional scars, and discover a renewed will to embrace the future together.
