"Junai Dissonance" tells the poignant story of Nitta Masaki, a new high school music teacher joining a school in turmoil after the previous teacher's disappearance. On the night before his first day, playing the piano in the music room, he encounters student Izumi Sae, who is also his homeroom student. As they investigate the mysterious missing person case, an undeniable connection forms between them. While Izumi Sae embraces her deep feelings, Nitta Masaki struggles to admit his love. Their paths diverge, only to cross again five years later. With an apparent lack of external obstacles to their rekindled affection, a single, profound barrier emerges: Nitta Masaki is a married man.
