Description:

In the compelling film "Jane," Sohyun finds herself utterly abandoned by Jungho, contemplating suicide in a lonely motel room. Her despair is unexpectedly interrupted by Jane, a compassionate transgender woman who emerges as her savior. Jane, who looks after a group of young runaways, warmly invites Sohyun into her makeshift family, offering a haven of love and care. However, this newfound peace is tragically short-lived when Jane suddenly passes away, leaving Sohyun once again adrift.

Sohyun then encounters a dramatically different reality: another group of runaways, this one controlled by a brutal man where hierarchy is brutally measured by financial contributions. Her life in this second home is equally bleak. The film masterfully blurs the lines, leaving viewers to ponder: Which of these two starkly different families is real, and which is merely a heartfelt figment of Sohyun's imagination as she desperately longs for a happy home and a place to belong? This powerful narrative challenges perceptions of reality and family.
