A curious nationwide event unfolds as several individuals mysteriously find 1 kg of solid gold in their mailboxes. Coincidentally, Yamabuki Maya returns to her hometown, surprising movers with an exorbitant payment, hinting at her immense wealth. One day, Maya boards a city train and recognizes former high school classmate Tamotsu driving it. He wistfully shares his initial dream of driving trains worldwide, now seemingly resigned to his local route. Days later, Tamotsu receives an anonymous package from Maya containing money and a map of the world railway system, reigniting his global ambitions. The story deepens when Maya attends the sudden funeral of Uozumi Saki's husband, reuniting with other old high school friends. Having accumulated an exorbitant fortune in Tokyo, Maya then declares to her friends, "I will make your dreams and hopes come to fruition," setting the stage for a compelling journey of ambition and unexpected generosity.
