Insanity is a gripping psychological thriller about redemption and mental collapse. Three years after Fan (Lau Ching Wan) killed his wife Michelle Ye during a schizophrenic breakdown, his psychiatrist, Dr. Chow (Huang Xiaoming), believes he is fully recovered. Against all odds, Chow successfully secures Fan’s release back into society. However, the harsh reality of social discrimination quickly pushes Fan back to the brink of collapse.
