I'm Not a Robot is a captivating romantic drama series about Kim Min Kyu, a wealthy financial company shareholder who suffers from a severe human allergy that isolates him from society. His lonely life changes when he discovers Aji3, an advanced humanoid robot created by Hong Baek Gyun and the Santa Maria robotic team. Interestingly, Aji3 is modeled after Hong Baek Gyun's ex-girlfriend, Jo Ji Ah, a struggling inventor working as a personal shopper. Right before Kim Min Kyu can test the robot, a sudden battery malfunction occurs. Desperate to secure crucial funding, Hong Baek Gyun convinces Jo Ji Ah to secretly pose as Aji3. As Jo Ji Ah pretends to be the robot, she unexpectedly becomes the only source of real human connection for the isolated Kim Min Kyu. Inspired by the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, this heartwarming story beautifully explores love and healing. Filming for this series took place from December 2017 to January 2018.
