I Am Reiko Shiratori! is a charming romantic comedy about Reiko Shiratori, a beautiful 19-year-old self-proclaimed ultimate princess. Despite her haughty attitude, Reiko is actually extremely naive about the real world. For years, she has loved Akimoto Tetsuya, but her enormous pride stops her from admitting her feelings. When Tetsuya moves to Tokyo for university, Reiko follows him, keeping him constantly bewildered by her unique sensibilities. Their complicated love story becomes even more chaotic with the arrival of several new rivals. Tetsuyas cute high school ex-girlfriend reappears, while the wealthy Yoshimoto Ryunosuke falls in love with Reiko at first sight. Adding to the drama is Reikos rival Kakitsubata Ayame. This delightful film captures the hilarious struggles of young love, pride, and jealousy.
