When world peace is threatened by the emergence of the Black Cross Army, a sinister international secret society of evil, the United Nations establishes an international peace organization called EAGLE to combat them. However, fearing this threat, the Black Cross Army launches a devastating surprise attack on Japan's EAGLE branches using five deadly cyborg operatives. Across Japan, bases are decimated, leaving only five young recruits as miraculous survivors. Driven by a desire for vengeance, these survivors are summoned to the secret gateway at snackshop Gon by EAGLE Japan's Commander Edogawa Gonpachi. There, they receive special formfitting electronic battlesuits that grant them superhuman abilities. Dubbed Himitsu Sentai Goranger, this secret squadron becomes humanity's best hope. Armed with advanced weapons, they vow to avenge their fallen comrades and destroy the Black Crusaders and their sinister leader, the Black Cross Führer.
