Description:

In the drama Her Granddaughter, Tsugumi Dozono, played by Nana Eikura, works at a large electronics company in Tokyo. She has always loved spending her long vacations at her grandmother's house in the countryside. When her grandmother passes away, Tsugumi decides to move into the countryside home permanently while working from home. However, her new life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a strange middle-aged man already living on the property. The man, Jun Kaieda, played by Etsushi Toyokawa, tells Tsugumi that he is her grandmother's former student. He claims her grandmother gave him a key to the annex house. Even though Tsugumi does not know the exact relationship between her grandmother and Jun, she decides to begin living with him in the house.
