Hankyu Densha is a heartwarming drama that explores the intersecting lives of several commuters on the Hankyu Railways Imazu Line, which connects the cities of Nishinomiya and Takarazuka in Hyogo prefecture. Despite the brief fifteen-minute journey between stations, this daily train ride becomes a catalyst for profound personal change. Among the passengers is Shoko Miki Nakatani, an office worker in her thirties coping with the heartbreak of losing her boyfriend to a younger colleague. Another commuter, Erika Toda, is a college student struggling because she is so easily persuaded by her no-good boyfriend.
