Golden Chariot in The Sky tells the story of PpongDdol, a dreamer who wants to form his own band. When he finds an old orange cart, he is inspired to name the group Golden Chariot. He invites his neighborhood friends to join, and they happily accept. However, they face two major problems: they lack musical talent, and they have no money. To secure funding, PpongDdol offers ChulWook the manager position if he can provide the cash, prompting ChulWook to ask his mom for help. Meanwhile, PpongDdol is visited by his estranged older brother, DongHo. The reunion quickly turns sour as they argue about their past and blame each other for getting kicked out of the family. Since both brothers are broke, they decide to seek out their oldest brother to ask for forgiveness and financial aid, even though they are terrified of his fist. This heartwarming yet chaotic journey explores family bonds and musical dreams.
