God of War, Zhao Yun is a 2015 Chinese drama series directed by Yong Guo Jian, based on the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Shan Tian Fang. The story follows Zhao Zi Long, also known as Zhao Yun (played by Lin Geng Xin), a legendary military general of the late Eastern Han Dynasty and early Three Kingdoms period. Gifted with unparalleled fighting skills, courage, and charisma, Zhao Yun initially serves the warlord Zan Gong Sun but later switches alliances to serve Liu Bei (played by Kevin Yan), eventually becoming one of the famed Five Tiger Generals. Amidst epic historical conflicts, the general becomes embroiled in a passionate love triangle with the beautiful Xiaohou Qing Yi (played by Yoona) and another great warrior, Gao Ze (played by Kim Jeong Hoon). Ultimately, Zhao Yun must discover if the battles of the heart are the most dangerous of all in this gripping tale of romance and war.
