Garasu No Ashi is a gripping drama centering on Setsuko Koda, played by Saki Aibu. Setsuko is married to Kiichiro, a hotel owner with whom she shares a significant age difference. To express herself, Setsuko writes poems and even publishes a collection titled Garasu no Ashi, encouraged by her husband. However, her life takes a dark turn. One afternoon, while in bed with her lover, Masahiro Sawaki, Setsuko receives a devastating call from the police. Kiichiro has been in a severe car accident. At the hospital, doctors deliver the tragic news that Kiichiro has suffered irreversible brain damage and has little time left. The tension escalates when Setsuko's estranged mother, Ritsuko Fujishima, arrives. Ritsuko, who previously had a romantic relationship with Kiichiro and abused Setsuko during her childhood, triggers deep-seated trauma. Overcome with hatred and resentment, Setsuko confronts and curses her mother, unleashing years of buried pain.
