Description:

In April 2018, Kawase Haruka bravely joins Tochigi Prefectural Kanuma High School's baseball club as a player, not a manager, quickly becoming the only female player in the prefecture. Despite her best friend Mogi Mayu's worries about her "JK life," Haruka commits to intense training alongside the boys, striving to match their abilities, even sharing a position with classmate Sonoda Harumichi. However, a strict rule crushes her Koshien dream: female players are prohibited from official high school baseball games. In 2020, as seniors, the team faces the devastating news of Koshien's cancellation due to the pandemic, causing Sonoda and his teammates to lose all motivation. Yet, Haruka continues her independent practice, sparking a profound realization among the boys. Finally understanding the depth of Haruka's struggle—never even having the goal of playing in an official match—Sonoda and his friends are inspired to defy tradition. They commit to finding a way to get Haruka onto the official match stage, even if it means exceeding the established rules.
