Description:

The heartwarming movie Fuku-chan of FukuFuku Flats follows Fukuchan, a lovable man who moved to Tokyo over ten years ago. Living in the apartment building FukuFuku Flats, Fukuchan is an incredibly nice guy, but he completely sucks at dating. His romantic failures stem from a deep-seated fear of women. This severe phobia causes him to completely ruin a blind date arranged by his supportive friend Shimacchi. Fukuchan's fear of women is not random; it actually arose from a painful incident during his middle school days involving his first love, Chiho. For years, this emotional scar has held him back from finding happiness. However, everything changes one day when Chiho unexpectedly approaches him. She sincerely apologizes to Fukuchan about his fear and the past incident. This emotional confrontation forces Fukuchan to face his deep anxieties and offers him a chance to finally heal and perhaps find love in Tokyo.
