After a heated argument with a director in Tokyo over creative differences, young scriptwriter Takeyama Jun decides to escape to Furano. However, his journey is abruptly cut short when a severe snow blizzard strands him in a remote Hokkaido town. With no lodging in sight, Takeyama wanders into a local pub, where he receives an unexpectedly warm welcome. He drinks heavily and blacks out, only to wake up the next morning in a forest treehouse. This unusual place serves as the office for an odd job business run by Matsui Hideo and Umemoto Soichi. Takeyama soon realizes the previous night's warm reception was a complete misunderstanding. Worse, he has lost his memory, mobile phone, and wallet. Trapped in this unfamiliar town with no way to reach Furano, he has no choice but to stay. Before he knows it, he is reluctantly roped into helping the locals clear the heavy snow, embarking on an unexpected adventure.
