Description:

Everybody says Kungdari tells the story of Bo Mi, a Korean adoptee who cherishes her life in New York. However, her world is unexpectedly turned upside down when an unforeseen legal entanglement exposes her lack of U.S. citizenship. Abruptly deported, Bo Mi finds herself forcibly returned to her ancestral village, Kungdari, in South Korea, a place vastly different from the urban life she knew. In this unfamiliar setting, she encounters Soo Ho, a man who once achieved great success in the American finance industry. Unlike Bo Mi, Soo Ho chose to settle in Kungdari, driven by a deeply personal quest to create a natural remedy for his ill daughter.
