Description:

In 1930s Shanghai, the vibrant "Paris of the East" thrives, yet beneath its glamorous facade, terror looms. Following incidents like the Marco Polo Bridge and the Battle of Shanghai, the Chinese Army valiantly fights the Imperial Japanese Army. Within the city, Japanese forces tighten their grip, destroying media outlets and demanding even private British and French radio stations register. Japanese agent Zhang Lanxin enforces this control, boldly stating that only Japan-approved transmissions can endure under the Shanghai sky. Into this atmosphere of stifled communication steps Li Xia, who accepts a perilous mission. He must clandestinely establish a new means of communication, an "eternal wave" of defiance, to connect and empower his compatriots against the oppressive occupation. This critical undertaking risks everything to ensure the voice of the people is heard.
