In the crime thriller Emergency Unit, Kong Michael Miu returns to Hong Kong from Taiwan to reconcile with his daughter Yau Yau Elanne Kong and plot revenge against Do Lum Lei, the man who jailed him. Meanwhile, police officer Cheung Ron Ng takes on an undercover assignment to capture Kong, supported by his loyal friend Lei Samuel Chan. As Cheung gains Kong’s trust, the police force refuses to pull him out, pushing Cheung to turn his back on the law and join the gang. Concurrently, Yik watches Kong closely while pretending to trust Leung Michael Tse. To rise in the ranks, Kong uses Yik’s wife, Ching Kathy Chow. However, just as Kong believes he is in control, his drug business fails, revealing that his closest allies have betrayed him.
