Description:

Detention is a chilling horror-mystery set in 1962 Taiwan, a dangerous period known as the White Terror, where free speech was severely restricted and sensitive books were banned. Student Fang Ray Shin develops a relationship with her teacher, Mr. Chang, who secretly organizes a forbidden book study group at Greenwood High School, alongside fellow teacher Miss Yin and student Wei Chong Ting.

One fateful night, Mr. Chang mysteriously disappears. Fang Ray Shin and Wei Chong Ting awaken to find themselves trapped within the school, which has transformed into a nightmarish, demon-infested place. The familiar environment is now haunted by rampaging demons and unsettling changes. As they desperately search for their missing teacher and a way to escape this terrifying new reality, the protagonists slowly uncover the dark and tragic history of Greenwood High School. They must confront the malevolent forces and buried secrets to survive the horrors that engulf them.
