The poignant drama movie Dear Etranger follows the life of forty-year-old Makoto Tanaka, a man who has recently remarried and is doing his best to care for his new wife, Nanae, alongside her two daughters from her prior marriage. Makoto genuinely tries to build a warm and ordinary family, hoping to foster deep bonds with his new stepchildren.
