In the wild sports comedy Deadball, a young man named Jubeh Yakyu swears off baseball forever after his literally blazing fastball kills his own father. Years later, sporting the style of a biker mixed with a Sergio Leone western hero, Jubeh is arrested after a two-week spree of fifty-four bizarre crimes, including dropping televisions on people. Seeking to use Jubeh's unique talents, the governor offers him a deal for freedom. Jubeh must infiltrate Pteradactyl Hall, a notorious juvenile detention center. The facility is run by the sinister headmistress Ishihara, a woman obsessed with Nazi-era fashion and discipline. Ishihara also chairs a mysterious juvenile baseball tournament known as the Juvie League. Suspecting that Ishihara is planning something highly dangerous, the governor tasks Jubeh with uncovering her true, dark intentions.
