Description:

Daisuki!! is a heartwarming and emotional drama adapted from the manga Daisuki Yuzu no Kosodate Nikki by Aimoto Mizuho. The story follows Yuzu, a twenty-three-year-old mentally disabled woman with the mind of an eight-year-old. Yuzu falls deeply in love with Sosuke, a man who lives with a similar intellectual disability. However, tragedy strikes when Sosuke is involved in a fatal accident. Shortly after, Yuzu’s family is shocked to discover she is five months pregnant with his child. Although Yuzu is determined to raise her baby, her mother Miyoko strongly opposes the pregnancy, fearing the immense challenges ahead. After emotional struggles, the family finally comes to terms with her pregnancy. Yuzu eventually gives birth to a beautiful daughter named Himawari. Facing overwhelming odds, Yuzu dedicates herself to being a mother, doing her absolute best to raise and protect the daughter she dearly loves. This moving adaptation beautifully portrays the unconditional love of a mother overcoming extraordinary obstacles.
